Primary Problem | Passenger Human Performance |
Narrative:
Passenger had seizure, and massive heart attack. He was 65-75 yrs old. Found out he was on several heart medications, had heart problems. We administered oxygen, cpr, chest compressors, rescue breathing, aed (defibrillator). Emergency room doctor helped, aed advised shock, gave passenger shock with no positive results. Paramedics arrived 20 mins after first alert of massive heart attack and paramedics took over. They worked on passenger in aisle for 10 more mins and then took his lifeless body out to jet bridge and worked on him out on gurney. We, as a flight crew, did everything as trained and gave this passenger 200%.
