Narrative:
We were assigned a published SID wherein you turn right from 055 degree heading to 120 degrees after passing 1700 ft MSL to maintain 2000 ft. Mmu tower cleared us for takeoff, 'maintain runway heading, 2000 ft,' which took us off the SID. Mmu departure 119.2 said maintain runway heading, climb and maintain 3000 ft. She then said, turn right heading 090 degrees, maintain 3000 ft, contact ny approach. As soon as he responded at ny approach, he said turn right 090 degrees, climb and maintain 3000 ft. He then came right back with urgency in his voice and said turn right 090 degrees, climb and maintain 5000 ft. We were already heading 090 degrees, so we continued on through 3000 ft to 5000 ft. At that moment, we got an RA to climb, climb. Above 3500 ft MSL, the RA was resolved with no problem. We only could guess that we cleared the other traffic by less than 2000 ft and 3 SM. We never saw it. Note: ATC created the conflict by taking us off the SID, steering us and climbing us directly into other traffic.

Title: CPR JET AIR TAXI FLT CREW DEPARTING MMU INCUR TCASII RA EXECUTING AN EXPEDITED CLB CLRNC.
Narrative: WE WERE ASSIGNED A PUBLISHED SID WHEREIN YOU TURN R FROM 055 DEG HDG TO 120 DEGS AFTER PASSING 1700 FT MSL TO MAINTAIN 2000 FT. MMU TWR CLRED US FOR TKOF, 'MAINTAIN RWY HEADING, 2000 FT,' WHICH TOOK US OFF THE SID. MMU DEP 119.2 SAID MAINTAIN RWY HEADING, CLB AND MAINTAIN 3000 FT. SHE THEN SAID, TURN R HEADING 090 DEGS, MAINTAIN 3000 FT, CONTACT NY APCH. AS SOON AS HE RESPONDED AT NY APCH, HE SAID TURN R 090 DEGS, CLB AND MAINTAIN 3000 FT. HE THEN CAME RIGHT BACK WITH URGENCY IN HIS VOICE AND SAID TURN R 090 DEGS, CLB AND MAINTAIN 5000 FT. WE WERE ALREADY HEADING 090 DEGS, SO WE CONTINUED ON THROUGH 3000 FT TO 5000 FT. AT THAT MOMENT, WE GOT AN RA TO CLB, CLB. ABOVE 3500 FT MSL, THE RA WAS RESOLVED WITH NO PROB. WE ONLY COULD GUESS THAT WE CLRED THE OTHER TFC BY LESS THAN 2000 FT AND 3 SM. WE NEVER SAW IT. NOTE: ATC CREATED THE CONFLICT BY TAKING US OFF THE SID, STEERING US AND CLBING US DIRECTLY INTO OTHER TFC.
