Narrative:

With rain (heavy) at lax, I was unable to quickly exit runway 7R to the right. So, with traffic on short final, I decided to exit the runway on the left side. I ended up between runway 7R and runway 7L at lax with my destination southwest part of the airport. I had my aircraft pointed towards runway 7R. ATC, from what I understand cleared me to taxi down runway 7R to A7 intersection. As I started to taxi, aircraft Y was instructed by ATC to go around. I was still on the taxiway as ATC told me to hold my position. After speaking with the supervisor at lax tower, I learned that ATC wanted me to taxi down runway 7L.
