Narrative:
I taxied out as copilot at teb to runway 24, following the ground control clearance obtained by the captain. We followed the company to runway 24 and held short of runway 19 as instructed. As I approached the approach end of runway 19 to be in position to cross, I saw an aircraft on approach to runway 19 about 2 or 3 NM out, and then I turned toward runway 19 and could no longer see the aircraft. The captain and I heard ground control call our company name and a call sign I recall as having the last of the 3 digits different from ours. The captain replied with our correct call sign and a questioning tone. The response, I recall, was that we were to cross runway 19. I started to rapidly cross, knowing an aircraft was approaching and about 1/2 way across. The captain said hurry. The ground controller said something like 'will you look at that. Go around, go around.' I was moving rapidly, but I noticed the shadow of the aircraft on the go around go by before we cleared runway 19. I am still not sure what really was said just prior to our crossing runway 19. I believed we had clearance to cross, and the captain gave the go ahead to go across. I thought he had the traffic, which was on his side, in sight. The following are factors, which may have made some difference in the crew performance of the captain and I in this incident: 1) this was our first day flying together. 2) we had been told the day before that we were to show at the aircraft XD45 the morning of the incident. We planned our sleep accordingly. We were called by operations at XA00 the morning of the incident with instructions to show at XC30 instead. We both started the day with 5 hours of sleep. 3) at the time of the incident, we had been on duty almost 13 hours and had flown over 7 1/2 hours. 4) we heard no other plane accept the crossing clearance nor object to us acknowledging it. 5) we heard no objections from ground control to our reply to the clearance to cross runway 19. 6) we did not see another plane waiting for runway 19, and we were in the position where we would expect to hear a clearance to cross runway 19.

Narrative: I TAXIED OUT AS COPLT AT TEB TO RWY 24, FOLLOWING THE GND CTL CLRNC OBTAINED BY THE CAPT. WE FOLLOWED THE COMPANY TO RWY 24 AND HELD SHORT OF RWY 19 AS INSTRUCTED. I AM STILL NOT SURE WHAT REALLY WAS SAID JUST PRIOR TO OUR XING RWY 19. I BELIEVED WE HAD CLRNC TO CROSS, AND THE CAPT GAVE THE GO AHEAD TO GO ACROSS. I THOUGHT HE HAD THE TFC, WHICH WAS ON HIS SIDE, IN SIGHT. THE FOLLOWING ARE FACTORS, WHICH MAY HAVE MADE SOME DIFFERENCE IN THE CREW PERFORMANCE OF THE CAPT AND I IN THIS INCIDENT: 1) THIS WAS OUR FIRST DAY FLYING TOGETHER. 2) WE HAD BEEN TOLD THE DAY BEFORE THAT WE WERE TO SHOW AT THE ACFT XD45 THE MORNING OF THE INCIDENT. WE PLANNED OUR SLEEP ACCORDINGLY. WE WERE CALLED BY OPS AT XA00 THE MORNING OF THE INCIDENT WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO SHOW AT XC30 INSTEAD. WE BOTH STARTED THE DAY WITH 5 HRS OF SLEEP. 3) AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT, WE HAD BEEN ON DUTY ALMOST 13 HRS AND HAD FLOWN OVER 7 1/2 HRS. 4) WE HEARD NO OTHER PLANE ACCEPT THE XING CLRNC NOR OBJECT TO US ACKNOWLEDGING IT. 5) WE HEARD NO OBJECTIONS FROM GND CTL TO OUR REPLY TO THE CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 19. 6) WE DID NOT SEE ANOTHER PLANE WAITING FOR RWY 19, AND WE WERE IN THE POS WHERE WE WOULD EXPECT TO HEAR A CLRNC TO CROSS RWY 19.
