Narrative:
In the process of performing maintenance on air force C17 core thrust reversers. We have been informed that the primary job planning card being used was intended to be a 'guide' to base the development of procedures proper to air carrier. It seems these 'proper' procedures were never developed. Therefore, 'proper' policies have not been followed for approximately 8 months. The job accomplishment, quality, and airworthiness have 'not' been compromised in any way. The paper package being used in AFB works there, but not at air carrier company.

Narrative: IN THE PROCESS OF PERFORMING MAINT ON AIR FORCE C17 CORE THRUST REVERSERS. WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE PRIMARY JOB PLANNING CARD BEING USED WAS INTENDED TO BE A 'GUIDE' TO BASE THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROCS PROPER TO ACR. IT SEEMS THESE 'PROPER' PROCS WERE NEVER DEVELOPED. THEREFORE, 'PROPER' POLICIES HAVE NOT BEEN FOLLOWED FOR APPROX 8 MONTHS. THE JOB ACCOMPLISHMENT, QUALITY, AND AIRWORTHINESS HAVE 'NOT' BEEN COMPROMISED IN ANY WAY. THE PAPER PACKAGE BEING USED IN AFB WORKS THERE, BUT NOT AT ACR COMPANY.
