Narrative:
Shortly after departure from ZZZ, I noticed on the overhead panel, speed trim, mach trim, and automatic slat light on. We complied with the quick reference handbook. All items were no pilot action. I then pushed recall and got only a partial test with several items not lit. We both tried on each side to get a full test but was unable. I then tested the light test on the forward panel and got no light test at all. Items on recall not testing were flight control IRS, overhead hydraulics and doors. We called maintenance operation control. He said start looking for a circuit breaker tube out. We found test/dim circuit breaker out. Maintenance operations control said I could exercise my emergency authority/authorized and reset the circuit breaker. I did not feel good about this, chose not to do so, because I was unable to set a full recall test, I chose to return to ZZZ for maintenance.
