Narrative:
I received instructions from ground control to taxi to runway 32 at sarasota (srq). I was on my run-up phase of flight at the hold short line at runway 32. Behind me were 2 jets waiting to take off. Ground control called me twice to ask if I was ready to take off and I said yes. I thought I was causing a delay of the jets so I tried to maneuver my aircraft to make space for the jets. During this process my nosewheel strut tire crossed the hold short line. The pilot in one of the jets reported to tower control what happened. Because of this an aircraft, a C172 on a 1 mi final, about 800-1000 ft high, had to execute a go around. I should not have been so close to the hold short line during my run-up.

Title: A PVT PLT INADVERTENTLY PENETRATED THE RWY HOLD LINE AS HE WAS TRYING TO MAKE ROOM FOR SOME JETS TO GET BY.
Narrative: I RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONS FROM GND CTL TO TAXI TO RWY 32 AT SARASOTA (SRQ). I WAS ON MY RUN-UP PHASE OF FLT AT THE HOLD SHORT LINE AT RWY 32. BEHIND ME WERE 2 JETS WAITING TO TAKE OFF. GND CTL CALLED ME TWICE TO ASK IF I WAS READY TO TAKE OFF AND I SAID YES. I THOUGHT I WAS CAUSING A DELAY OF THE JETS SO I TRIED TO MANEUVER MY ACFT TO MAKE SPACE FOR THE JETS. DURING THIS PROCESS MY NOSEWHEEL STRUT TIRE CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE. THE PLT IN ONE OF THE JETS RPTED TO TWR CTL WHAT HAPPENED. BECAUSE OF THIS AN ACFT, A C172 ON A 1 MI FINAL, ABOUT 800-1000 FT HIGH, HAD TO EXECUTE A GAR. I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SO CLOSE TO THE HOLD SHORT LINE DURING MY RUN-UP.
