Narrative:

I was taxiing a beech 1900 from the ground run-up enclosure to the maintenance hangar. I was instructed from ground control to hold short of runway 7R on taxiway right. While stopped here in aircraft X, another company beech 1900, aircraft Y, was holding short at runway 7L on taxiway B. Ground control had called for aircraft clear to cross runway 7L. I misunderstood ground control, and started to roll forward on runway 7R, after crossing the hold short painted area with my nose wheel. I looked to my left and saw an aircraft was turning the corner to line up for takeoff on runway 7R. I stopped at this point, realizing ground was talking to aircraft Y on runway 7L to cross. I was not on the runway, but my nose was over the hold short line. Ground control then had me cross runway 7R and taxi back to maintenance hangar. When I got back, maintenance control informed me that ground control had called and asked for my name.

Title: MAINT PLT CROSSED HOLD LINE WITHOUT ATC CLRNC AT STL.

Narrative: I WAS TAXIING A BEECH 1900 FROM THE GND RUN-UP ENCLOSURE TO THE MAINT HANGAR. I WAS INSTRUCTED FROM GND CTL TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 7R ON TXWY R. WHILE STOPPED HERE IN ACFT X, ANOTHER COMPANY BEECH 1900, ACFT Y, WAS HOLDING SHORT AT RWY 7L ON TXWY B. GND CTL HAD CALLED FOR ACFT CLR TO CROSS RWY 7L. I MISUNDERSTOOD GND CTL, AND STARTED TO ROLL FORWARD ON RWY 7R, AFTER XING THE HOLD SHORT PAINTED AREA WITH MY NOSE WHEEL. I LOOKED TO MY L AND SAW AN ACFT WAS TURNING THE CORNER TO LINE UP FOR TKOF ON RWY 7R. I STOPPED AT THIS POINT, REALIZING GND WAS TALKING TO ACFT Y ON RWY 7L TO CROSS. I WAS NOT ON THE RWY, BUT MY NOSE WAS OVER THE HOLD SHORT LINE. GND CTL THEN HAD ME CROSS RWY 7R AND TAXI BACK TO MAINT HANGAR. WHEN I GOT BACK, MAINT CTL INFORMED ME THAT GND CTL HAD CALLED AND ASKED FOR MY NAME.
