Narrative:

After canceling our IFR clearance on the ground and flying VFR to washington dulles, we advised flight service to change our IFR information into a VFR flight plan for the ADIZ into iad. Flight following from the center and clearance into the class B all went ok, but after touchdown to confirm our cancellation of VFR flight plan, flight service had no record of it.

Title: HS125 QUESTIONS STATUS OF VFR FLT PLAN.

Narrative: AFTER CANCELING OUR IFR CLRNC ON THE GND AND FLYING VFR TO WASHINGTON DULLES, WE ADVISED FLT SVC TO CHANGE OUR IFR INFO INTO A VFR FLT PLAN FOR THE ADIZ INTO IAD. FLT FOLLOWING FROM THE CTR AND CLRNC INTO THE CLASS B ALL WENT OK, BUT AFTER TOUCHDOWN TO CONFIRM OUR CANCELLATION OF VFR FLT PLAN, FLT SVC HAD NO RECORD OF IT.
