Narrative:
At cruise, FL370 smelled smoke and visually saw smoke coming out of captain's microphone selector panel. Declared an emergency and started turn toward iah. As per checklist, isolated left main bus. Smoke stopped. Made approach and landing iah. One passenger required medical assistance at iah, possible heart problem, was checked out and released to continue flight to cancun.

Title: B757 FLT CREW HAS SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT, DECLARES AN EMER AND DIVERTS TO IAH.
Narrative: AT CRUISE, FL370 SMELLED SMOKE AND VISUALLY SAW SMOKE COMING OUT OF CAPT'S MIKE SELECTOR PANEL. DECLARED AN EMER AND STARTED TURN TOWARD IAH. AS PER CHKLIST, ISOLATED L MAIN BUS.
