Narrative:
The captain and I were flying from lax to san diego. We contacted ground control and were told to taxi runway 25R, via taxiway B, and hold short of intersection north. I have a few hours at lax airport, so while looking at my airport diagram, I realized we were at intersection north. There appeared to be no traffic conflict, and ground control told us we just passed intersection north. He told us to continue to runway 25R. The captain said he never heard the hold short readback. Ground control didn't seem mad about the situation, but I thought I'd send this report in anyway. I believe this situation wouldn't have happened if I had more time at lax airport. The airport is unfamiliar to me, but I'll make sure that, before accepting my next taxi clearance, I'll know where the intersection is ahead of time. There was also a lot of radio congestion on frequency, so this was distracting as well, because it was difficult to hear the controller's voice, because everyone was stepping on each other.

Title: A SAAB 340 PLT, HELPING THE CAPT TAXI AT LAX, LOST SITUATIONAL AWARENESS REGARDING HIS POS, CAUSING A TXWY INCURSION.
Narrative: THE CAPT AND I WERE FLYING FROM LAX TO SAN DIEGO. WE CONTACTED GND CTL AND WERE TOLD TO TAXI RWY 25R, VIA TXWY B, AND HOLD SHORT OF INTXN N. I HAVE A FEW HRS AT LAX ARPT, SO WHILE LOOKING AT MY ARPT DIAGRAM, I REALIZED WE WERE AT INTXN N. THERE APPEARED TO BE NO TFC CONFLICT, AND GND CTL TOLD US WE JUST PASSED INTXN N. HE TOLD US TO CONTINUE TO RWY 25R. THE CAPT SAID HE NEVER HEARD THE HOLD SHORT READBACK. GND CTL DIDN'T SEEM MAD ABOUT THE SIT, BUT I THOUGHT I'D SEND THIS RPT IN ANYWAY. I BELIEVE THIS SIT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD MORE TIME AT LAX ARPT. THE ARPT IS UNFAMILIAR TO ME, BUT I'LL MAKE SURE THAT, BEFORE ACCEPTING MY NEXT TAXI CLRNC, I'LL KNOW WHERE THE INTXN IS AHEAD OF TIME. THERE WAS ALSO A LOT OF RADIO CONGESTION ON FREQ, SO THIS WAS DISTRACTING AS WELL, BECAUSE IT WAS DIFFICULT TO HEAR THE CTLR'S VOICE, BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS STEPPING ON EACH OTHER.
