Narrative:

During preflight, the flight attendants noticed one of the mid lavatories locked. They had flown the aircraft into bos the previous evening and had locked the lavatory door in-flight due to lack of service items, ie, toilet paper, towel, soap, etc. After inspecting the lavatory, they found that it had not been resupplied. There were no signs that the lavatory door was ever opened and therefore not included in the security inspection. The inspection signature sheet in the logbook even had whiteout under the date. I determined that the aircraft had not been properly checked and needed a complete security inspection before departure. This was accomplished by gsc.
