Narrative:
Months ago, our crj-700 fleet had a fuel ad 2003-02-51 on each aircraft. Whole fleet has been modified months ago. On climb out, I noticed there still is an ad 2003-02-51 placard in our cockpit of aircraft X. We also have an 'anti-ice' ad 2003-12-06 placarded on our crj-700 fleet, and I believed placard '02-51' to be there for the 'anti-ice' ad. I was wrong and overlooked placard '02-51.' I called dispatch and maintenance control, en route, to confirm all our crj's have been modified and ad 02-51 does not apply any longer. Dispatch and maintenance control confirmed all crj's, including aircraft X, have been modified. (Otherwise, I would have landed somewhere to comply with 3000 pounds and fuel for ad 02-51.) apparently, maintenance had forgotten to remove ad 02-51 placard when fuel modification ad was complied with months ago, and no pilots had caught it until now.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A CRJ700 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH AN AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE PLACARD POSTED IN THE COCKPIT. AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE WAS ACCOMPLISHED, BUT PLACARD NOT REMOVED BY MAINT.
Narrative: MONTHS AGO, OUR CRJ-700 FLEET HAD A FUEL AD 2003-02-51 ON EACH ACFT. WHOLE FLEET HAS BEEN MODIFIED MONTHS AGO. ON CLBOUT, I NOTICED THERE STILL IS AN AD 2003-02-51 PLACARD IN OUR COCKPIT OF ACFT X. WE ALSO HAVE AN 'ANTI-ICE' AD 2003-12-06 PLACARDED ON OUR CRJ-700 FLEET, AND I BELIEVED PLACARD '02-51' TO BE THERE FOR THE 'ANTI-ICE' AD. I WAS WRONG AND OVERLOOKED PLACARD '02-51.' I CALLED DISPATCH AND MAINT CTL, ENRTE, TO CONFIRM ALL OUR CRJ'S HAVE BEEN MODIFIED AND AD 02-51 DOES NOT APPLY ANY LONGER. DISPATCH AND MAINT CONTROL CONFIRMED ALL CRJ'S, INCLUDING ACFT X, HAVE BEEN MODIFIED. (OTHERWISE, I WOULD HAVE LANDED SOMEWHERE TO COMPLY WITH 3000 LBS AND FUEL FOR AD 02-51.) APPARENTLY, MAINT HAD FORGOTTEN TO REMOVE AD 02-51 PLACARD WHEN FUEL MODIFICATION AD WAS COMPLIED WITH MONTHS AGO, AND NO PLTS HAD CAUGHT IT UNTIL NOW.
