Narrative:
Jul/wed/03, I was a crew chief at the terminal operation at ZZZ. I was working 9 aircraft, 1 of which was a B757 conversion aircraft. The work pack issued by production control had air carrier Y paperwork assigned. I knew this was incorrect because the aircraft was a conversion and had an air carrier logbook. I called production control and notified them of the situation. They agreed and sent me air carrier X maintenance routine check job card 'ps' paperwork, which I believed at the time was the correct paperwork. On jul/mon/03, while reviewing air carrier X maintenance current revisions bulletins I discovered that B757 conversion aircraft has its own set of maintenance routine check job cards. I realized the paperwork was incorrect and wish to report this incident.
