Narrative:
After a departure on runway 30 to the north, it was my intention to make an immediate right turn to cross san francisco bay, on the published VFR departure. I engaged the just repaired autoplt and the aircraft took an immediate nose up and left wing down attitude. I took immediate steps to correct the situation, including full throttle lower the nose against trim disengagement of autoplt system, but it took time to correct the trim manually, and once leveling the left wing. I flew straight until I was sure the aircraft was not structurally damaged. This unfortunately, by the time I was able to turn right, took me into the southwest most corner of sfo class B over foster city. I followed instruction from the tower to turn right. I flew over the bay and returned to san carlos after a broad low rate turn to the right. I aviated first, naved second, and communicated with sql with tower. Sorry, this caught the corner of the class B.

SORRY, THIS CAUGHT THE CORNER OF THE CLASS B.
