Narrative:
I was not aware of the washington ADIZ and violated it. I planned and flew from poughkeepsie (pow) ny to greenville downtown airport, greenville, sc. At cruise altitudes above 10000 ft using GPS direct, but in full knowledge, I should have deviated west, or right off course to adequately clear the washington tfr. After WAC chart center of gravity-21 study, frederick VOR was selected as a point along the route that would assure clearance from P-40 and the white house tfr. I was not aware of an ADIZ existing within the continental us boundaries. Though I was briefed on tfr's, knowledge of this ADIZ was missed. Is this ADIZ going to be published on charts?

Title: UNAUTH DC ADIZ AIRSPACE PENETRATION BY A NORAC PA31-350 ATP PLT AT 10000 FT ON A FLT NW OF DCA, VA.
Narrative: I WAS NOT AWARE OF THE WASHINGTON ADIZ AND VIOLATED IT. I PLANNED AND FLEW FROM POUGHKEEPSIE (POW) NY TO GREENVILLE DOWNTOWN ARPT, GREENVILLE, SC. AT CRUISE ALTS ABOVE 10000 FT USING GPS DIRECT, BUT IN FULL KNOWLEDGE, I SHOULD HAVE DEVIATED W, OR R OFF COURSE TO ADEQUATELY CLR THE WASHINGTON TFR. AFTER WAC CHART CTR OF GRAVITY-21 STUDY, FREDERICK VOR WAS SELECTED AS A POINT ALONG THE RTE THAT WOULD ASSURE CLRNC FROM P-40 AND THE WHITE HOUSE TFR. I WAS NOT AWARE OF AN ADIZ EXISTING WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL US BOUNDARIES. THOUGH I WAS BRIEFED ON TFR'S, KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ADIZ WAS MISSED. IS THIS ADIZ GOING TO BE PUBLISHED ON CHARTS?
