Narrative:
Cleared for an ILS runway 22R approach at ord. Approach control instructed to contact tower at 'ridge' FAF and full length was available (note: lahso was in effect for runway 22R to hold short of runway 27R). PNF (captain) cross-channeled radios: transmitted on 120.75 (south tower frequency) that aircraft was over 'ridge FAF.' the statement on frequency was 'cleared to land' (in retrospect it may have been for another aircraft). We landed runway 22R, turned off at taxiway C and held short of runway 27R. Upon looking at approach end of runway 27R, we saw an airbus going around. Changed to proper tower frequency at which time cleared across runway 27R and contact ground.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: FLT CREW OF BA46 MAY HAVE CAUSED ANOTHER ACFT TO GO AROUND AT ORD WHEN THEY LANDED WITHOUT CLRNC ON RWY 22R DURING LAHSO OPS.
Narrative: CLRED FOR AN ILS RWY 22R APCH AT ORD. APCH CTL INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT TWR AT 'RIDGE' FAF AND FULL LENGTH WAS AVAILABLE (NOTE: LAHSO WAS IN EFFECT FOR RWY 22R TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 27R). PNF (CAPT) CROSS-CHANNELED RADIOS: XMITTED ON 120.75 (S TWR FREQ) THAT ACFT WAS OVER 'RIDGE FAF.' THE STATEMENT ON FREQ WAS 'CLRED TO LAND' (IN RETROSPECT IT MAY HAVE BEEN FOR ANOTHER ACFT). WE LANDED RWY 22R, TURNED OFF AT TXWY C AND HELD SHORT OF RWY 27R. UPON LOOKING AT APCH END OF RWY 27R, WE SAW AN AIRBUS GOING AROUND. CHANGED TO PROPER TWR FREQ AT WHICH TIME CLRED ACROSS RWY 27R AND CONTACT GND.
