Narrative:
Captain initial 'terrain' chkout with check airman into jac. Captain (PF), check airman (PNF) (first officer seat). I was also receiving chkout and was on jumpseat as per operations manual. Check airman and captain very involved with local terrain characteristics and geography in descent. ZLC late with initial descent due to sector congestion.

Narrative: CAPT INITIAL 'TERRAIN' CHKOUT WITH CHK AIRMAN INTO JAC. CAPT (PF), CHK AIRMAN (PNF) (FO SEAT). I WAS ALSO RECEIVING CHKOUT AND WAS ON JUMPSEAT AS PER OPS MANUAL.
