Narrative:
Final approach runway 17L dfw -- the ILS was turned around, ie, it idented as runway 35R. Localizer and GS were out of whack. The only reason I bring this up is because it took several calls from different crews before the tower warned inbound flts that the ILS was inoperative. Just a caution that we have to watch this one too. If it had been IMC, this could have caused major problems. You guys are going to have to bite the bullet and learn morse code.
