Narrative:
Aircraft relatively new with 37 tachometer total time needed to be re-located from white plains, ny, to bwi. All electric panels on aircraft in mixed flight conditions. Series of individual failures -- ie, turn coordination, pitot heat, fuel pressure and finally, on ground oil line broke (new aircraft). Upon reaching destination, realized the temporary registration had expired. Ferry pilot knew plane to be newly sold. Had flown and delivered these before with no problem. Salesman paying for ferry flight knew and misled me as to paperwork for flight purposes and pilot (myself) was a fool for trusting his 'verification' of paperwork. Because paperwork was not current, I hesitated to land or return to original airport when equipment failed. I pressed on with accumulating equipment failures.

Title: ON A FERRY FLT TO DELIVER A NEWLY SOLD DA40, RPTR ENCOUNTERED SEVERAL MECHANICAL FAILURES. UPON LNDG DISCOVERED THE TEMPORARY REGISTRATION FOR THE ACFT WAS OUT OF DATE.
Narrative: ACFT RELATIVELY NEW WITH 37 TACHOMETER TOTAL TIME NEEDED TO BE RE-LOCATED FROM WHITE PLAINS, NY, TO BWI. ALL ELECTRIC PANELS ON ACFT IN MIXED FLT CONDITIONS. SERIES OF INDIVIDUAL FAILURES -- IE, TURN COORD, PITOT HEAT, FUEL PRESSURE AND FINALLY, ON GND OIL LINE BROKE (NEW ACFT). UPON REACHING DEST, REALIZED THE TEMPORARY REGISTRATION HAD EXPIRED. FERRY PLT KNEW PLANE TO BE NEWLY SOLD. HAD FLOWN AND DELIVERED THESE BEFORE WITH NO PROB. SALESMAN PAYING FOR FERRY FLT KNEW AND MISLED ME AS TO PAPERWORK FOR FLT PURPOSES AND PLT (MYSELF) WAS A FOOL FOR TRUSTING HIS 'VERIFICATION' OF PAPERWORK. BECAUSE PAPERWORK WAS NOT CURRENT, I HESITATED TO LAND OR RETURN TO ORIGINAL ARPT WHEN EQUIP FAILED. I PRESSED ON WITH ACCUMULATING EQUIP FAILURES.
