Narrative:

Day VFR from cody, wy, to hailey, identification, and return to cody. During descent into hailey (friedman memorial airport), I inadvertently and non-deliberately failed to contact ATC and proceeded to land without communicating with ATC. Another aircraft was taking off toward my aircraft upon landing. Aircraft never closer than 2500 ft horizontal distance.

Narrative: DAY VFR FROM CODY, WY, TO HAILEY, ID, AND RETURN TO CODY. DURING DSCNT INTO HAILEY (FRIEDMAN MEMORIAL ARPT), I INADVERTENTLY AND NON-DELIBERATELY FAILED TO CONTACT ATC AND PROCEEDED TO LAND WITHOUT COMMUNICATING WITH ATC. ANOTHER ACFT WAS TAKING OFF TOWARD MY ACFT UPON LNDG. ACFT NEVER CLOSER THAN 2500 FT HORIZ DISTANCE.
