Narrative:

On the day in question there were 5 planes in the pattern. There was a cessna on a 1 mi final, so I decided that I had enough room for takeoff. I called takeoff on the roll, I wasn't expecting the aircraft on final to go around which increased in speed and closed the gap of safety. I should have waited for the plane to land, or at least asked him if I could take off ahead. That would probably have saved the plane from going around.
