Narrative:
Cleared to land runway 32 mob. As I approached, I decided I was too high and turned off to left to do a descending turn. As I came around to approximately heading, the tower gave me a right turn to 050 degrees. As I came to 050 degrees and crossing the runway approach, the tower talked to another aircraft to see if he saw my airplane and he said he did. The tower then gave me clear to land. As I turned to land, I saw an air carrier plane landing on runway 32. Corrective actions: better communication by pilot with tower. Tower could have sent plane to west of runway heading. Conflicts: never saw other plane until back on turn to runway for landing. Other plane was landing then.

Title: PA32 PLT CONCERNED WITH POSSIBLE CONFLICT WITH A LNDG ACR ON RWY 32 IN THE TFC PATTERN AT MOB, CLAIMING ATC WAS DEFICIENT WITH TA'S.
Narrative: CLRED TO LAND RWY 32 MOB. AS I APCHED, I DECIDED I WAS TOO HIGH AND TURNED OFF TO L TO DO A DSNDING TURN. AS I CAME AROUND TO APPROX HDG, THE TWR GAVE ME A R TURN TO 050 DEGS. AS I CAME TO 050 DEGS AND XING THE RWY APCH, THE TWR TALKED TO ANOTHER ACFT TO SEE IF HE SAW MY AIRPLANE AND HE SAID HE DID. THE TWR THEN GAVE ME CLR TO LAND. AS I TURNED TO LAND, I SAW AN ACR PLANE LNDG ON RWY 32. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: BETTER COM BY PLT WITH TWR. TWR COULD HAVE SENT PLANE TO W OF RWY HDG. CONFLICTS: NEVER SAW OTHER PLANE UNTIL BACK ON TURN TO RWY FOR LNDG. OTHER PLANE WAS LNDG THEN.
