Narrative:

While being vectored on approach at 12000 ft, to atl, went into green WX area on radar and encountered 2 lightning strikes. First mild, second approximately 20 seconds later, shook airplane. Sparks observed in front of aircraft. (Later flight attendants reported seeing on right side of aircraft.) after flight at gate, found numerous burn holes on outside of right engine cowl. Reported strike in air to maintenance. Put in logbook. Called chief pilot, duty pilot, finally dispatcher. No indications in the air of any damage or any message, etc. Crew elected to continue trip through atl.
