Narrative:

Passenger told flight attendant she did not feel well. Purser paged for medical assistance. Physician notified me of his services/availability. I took him to passenger seat whereupon a nearby passenger told me the ill woman had been on her previous flight and had complained of illness. Proceeding down the aisle, several other passenger notified me of having been on the other flight where this ill woman had become ill. Many were upset at the inconvenience. Also, the ill woman's family was seated in main cabin and asked me of her condition. Whereupon I asked why they brought her on the flight despite her previous flight -- knowing she was ill. Their response: 'she wanted to go to her son's wedding.' passenger should be screened for illness -- especially senior citizens. The inconvenience and expense experienced in diverting could have been prevented, had the agents recognized the passenger.
