Narrative:
On short final, the prior landing aircraft failed to clear the runway, resulting in a go around. The PF climbed to approximately 1800 ft MSL before correcting back to the published altitude of 1500 ft MSL. Tower reported our deviation to nearby aircraft. We then received vectors to an uneventful approach and landing.

Title: A B767ER FLT CREW DOES A GAR DUE TO TFC ON THE RWY. ON THE GAR, THE FLT CREW OVERSHOT THEIR ALT BY 300 FT RESULTING IN A TFC CONFLICT.
Narrative: ON SHORT FINAL, THE PRIOR LNDG ACFT FAILED TO CLR THE RWY, RESULTING IN A GAR. THE PF CLBED TO APPROX 1800 FT MSL BEFORE CORRECTING BACK TO THE PUBLISHED ALT OF 1500 FT MSL. TWR RPTED OUR DEV TO NEARBY ACFT. WE THEN RECEIVED VECTORS TO AN UNEVENTFUL APCH AND LNDG.
