Narrative:

I was landing on runway 14 at stinson municipal (ssf) in san antonio, tx, when it became quite apparent that the VASI on that runway was way out of adjustment. If you follow the VASI, I would estimate that you would land well past midfield on a 4128 ft long runway. There were no NOTAMS posted at the time of my flight (and I just checked and then still none). I just checked in the airport directory and they don't list VASI for runway 14. Nonetheless, if they are illuminated, people will use them. I mentioned it to the ground controller and he said he would mention it to airport management. I complained to the FBO and he said he would mention it to the airport manager. I went back in 10 days later at night and they were still on. I refused runway 14 and landed on runway 9. Can someone get these fixed or turned off before someone unfamiliar goes off the end at night?
