Narrative:

I was practicing takeoffs and lndgs. 3 successful takeoffs and lndgs were completed. On the 4TH departure, I started rolling, and was near vr when I put in left rudder because I was to the right of the centerline. When I put in the left rudder, the plane started skidding off to the left. I immediately pulled the throttle and slammed on the brakes. The plane then skidded across the left half of the runway, over a perpendicular taxiway and finally stopped on the parallel taxiway. When I put in the left rudder, I may have pushed in on the brake also, causing it to lock up, which caused me to skid sideways. My lack of hours, in the past 90 days, may have been a contributing factor, but I had made 3 lndgs and departures while flying that day with no incidences.

Title: C172 PLT LOST ACFT CTL AND SKIDDED OFF THE RWY, ACROSS ANOTHER TXWY. THE PLT WAS ATTEMPTING TO CORRECT FOR RWY ALIGNMENT DRIFT.

Narrative: I WAS PRACTICING TKOFS AND LNDGS. 3 SUCCESSFUL TKOFS AND LNDGS WERE COMPLETED. ON THE 4TH DEP, I STARTED ROLLING, AND WAS NEAR VR WHEN I PUT IN L RUDDER BECAUSE I WAS TO THE R OF THE CTRLINE. WHEN I PUT IN THE L RUDDER, THE PLANE STARTED SKIDDING OFF TO THE L. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED THE THROTTLE AND SLAMMED ON THE BRAKES. THE PLANE THEN SKIDDED ACROSS THE L HALF OF THE RWY, OVER A PERPENDICULAR TXWY AND FINALLY STOPPED ON THE PARALLEL TXWY. WHEN I PUT IN THE L RUDDER, I MAY HAVE PUSHED IN ON THE BRAKE ALSO, CAUSING IT TO LOCK UP, WHICH CAUSED ME TO SKID SIDEWAYS. MY LACK OF HRS, IN THE PAST 90 DAYS, MAY HAVE BEEN A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR, BUT I HAD MADE 3 LNDGS AND DEPS WHILE FLYING THAT DAY WITH NO INCIDENCES.
