Narrative:
During a routine taxi out for takeoff at lru, an uncontrolled airport, I missed an intersection on taxiway B and continued to taxi on the currently active runway 22. There was a C172 on final approach which I saw approximately on a 1 mi final while I was in the center of the runway. I immediately moved to the right side clear and announced my situation on the CTAF. The landing aircraft acknowledged he saw me and initiated a go around allowing me to continue the back-taxi and safely depart the area. In the future, I will be much more diligent in taxiing.
