Narrative:
We were operating as air carrier X on the return leg from las to den. It was nov/wed/03, and our scheduled departure time of XA30 local became XA05 local because of a luggage problem. I received the ATIS and pre departure clearance via the ACARS. We departed around XA30 local after some traffic delays on runway 19L. We received, believed and read on our clearance strip the aaces 2 departure. After departing behind a citation ii we were climbing through 7000 ft MSL cleared to 18000 ft MSL when departure control asked if we were executing the tralr 1 departure. We confirmed we were issued and on the aaces 2 departure. Departure control then said to turn left direct to tralr and contact ZLA 124.2. We were never, never given a phone number to call. I even asked if there was a problem and departure control (same voice entire departure procedure) stated no. We never received a TA nor an RA! We continued on our mission thinking everything was normal. The next day we were back in denver around XA00 local when we were informed by air carrier X of a possible situation the night before in las. Las TRACON claims we were in a near miss and another controller had to step in to divert our aircraft. We believe las has made a mistake and confused our flight with another. Even though we were on the aaces 2 departure and not the tralr 1 departure, at the time we were still on the same radials and in the same airspace. We stand behind the fact our pre departure clearance read aaces 2 departure and not the tralr 1 departure.

WE STAND BEHIND THE FACT OUR PDC READ AACES 2 DEP AND NOT THE TRALR 1 DEP.
