Narrative:

I was cleared for takeoff from runway 30R, left closed traffic. I misunderstood the local controller and thought he cleared me for the 'option' on runway 30R. He had, in fact, meant runway 30L. I proceeded around the pattern and did a touch and go on runway 30R. On climb out I asked for any early turn to the left. At that time the controller informed me my clearance had been to runway 30L, not runway 30R. I had flown the previous day, same airport and a similar situation. I departed from runway 30R and was cleared for left traffic for runway 30R. I anticipated receiving the same instruction on the day of the event and must not have heard what he actually said.

Title: A C182 PLT, MAKING ASSUMPTIONS FROM THE PREVIOUS DAY, LANDED ON THE WRONG RWY AT BFR.

Narrative: I WAS CLRED FOR TKOF FROM RWY 30R, L CLOSED TFC. I MISUNDERSTOOD THE LCL CTLR AND THOUGHT HE CLRED ME FOR THE 'OPTION' ON RWY 30R. HE HAD, IN FACT, MEANT RWY 30L. I PROCEEDED AROUND THE PATTERN AND DID A TOUCH AND GO ON RWY 30R. ON CLBOUT I ASKED FOR ANY EARLY TURN TO THE L. AT THAT TIME THE CTLR INFORMED ME MY CLRNC HAD BEEN TO RWY 30L, NOT RWY 30R. I HAD FLOWN THE PREVIOUS DAY, SAME ARPT AND A SIMILAR SIT. I DEPARTED FROM RWY 30R AND WAS CLRED FOR L TFC FOR RWY 30R. I ANTICIPATED RECEIVING THE SAME INSTRUCTION ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT AND MUST NOT HAVE HEARD WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID.
