Narrative:
Departed fmy en route to tys. Instructed to expect ILS runway 5L and descend to 2700 ft. Intercepted GS slightly high, broke out just to the left of centerline. I made a poor judgement error to land on the remaining runway rather than go around due to the fact ceilings appeared lower than the 300 ft as stated on ATIS frequency. Runway was wet, so I did not use maximum braking.

Title: A BE58 PLT MADE AN UNSTABLE APCH TO TYS AND LANDED LONG.
Narrative: DEPARTED FMY ENRTE TO TYS. INSTRUCTED TO EXPECT ILS RWY 5L AND DSND TO 2700 FT. INTERCEPTED GS SLIGHTLY HIGH, BROKE OUT JUST TO THE L OF CTRLINE. I MADE A POOR JUDGEMENT ERROR TO LAND ON THE REMAINING RWY RATHER THAN GO AROUND DUE TO THE FACT CEILINGS APPEARED LOWER THAN THE 300 FT AS STATED ON ATIS FREQ. RWY WAS WET, SO I DID NOT USE MAX BRAKING.
