Narrative:
Pit tower advised position and hold runway 28R, read back tower's clearance. Halfway onto runway, tower advised it was not us to position and hold but other flight, a cargo aircraft, who never acknowledged position and hold. Cleared for immediate takeoff. An air carrier aircraft went around, we took off. No advisory to call tower or departure.

Narrative: PIT TWR ADVISED POS AND HOLD RWY 28R, READ BACK TWR'S CLRNC. HALFWAY ONTO RWY, TWR ADVISED IT WAS NOT US TO POS AND HOLD BUT OTHER FLT, A CARGO ACFT, WHO NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED POS AND HOLD. CLRED FOR IMMEDIATE TKOF. AN ACR ACFT WENT AROUND, WE TOOK OFF. NO ADVISORY TO CALL TWR OR DEP.
