Title: EMB JET CREW WAS NOT ABLE TO RETRACT THE NOSE GEAR, BECAUSE MAINT DID NOT REMOVE THE GEAR PIN AFTER THE CREW RETURNED TO THE GATE FOR A NOSEWHEEL STEERING PROB.
Narrative: PERFORMED PREFLT INSPECTION, INCLUDING GEAR PINS STOWED. DEPARTED GATE. DISCOVERED STEERING MALFUNCTION. RETURNED TO GATE. MAINT PERFORMED ON ACFT. DEPARTED RDU. NOSE LNDG GEAR DID NOT RETRACT. RETURNED TO RDU, MADE NORMAL LNDG. FOUND MAINT HAD L GEAR PIN INSTALLED IN NOSE GEAR.
