Narrative:
On descent into ord, getting flight attendant reports of smells in rear cabin. Correlated those events with turning on wing anti-ice. On downwind at ord, informed that the floor was warm near right side overwing exits. Decided to declare emergency to expedite flow to landing. Had fire trucks make exterior inspection on taxiway. All normal. Restarted engines, taxied to gate.
