Narrative:
During shift, 3-SVC on a B777 'heavy' model, I and 2 other amt's found 3 tires worn past limits. One other amt got a tire out of hg tire rack and ordered the 2 other tires from stores to be delivered to aircraft. I and 2 other amt's installed tires per maintenance manual 32-45-01. Management wanted to move aircraft to the gate and the other 2 amt's weren't around, so I signed off the tires myself. Aircraft made 2 flts without any problems -- ZZZ to ZZZ1, ZZZ1 to ZZZ2. In ZZZ amt found tires to be wrong type and changed tires. The 3 tires had no problems, I was told on dec/wed/03.
