Narrative:

Violated current ADIZ surrounding washington, dc. I forgot that the new space included the 30 mi boundary. I have a GPS and followed the perimeter of 20 NM boundary under the 3500 ft limit. The chart (VFR) dated nov/xx does not have the new restr limits. This would be helpful if the new ADIZ were included. The briefer asked me if I was familiar with the ADIZ. I thought he said ATIS and I said yes. Could the acronym be spelled out as words to be more understandable?
