Narrative:
Flight attendant #4 informed me, flight attendant #1, that there were 11 first class passenger instead of the 10 listed on my final paperwork. So I called out names on my list and matched them with all passenger except for one in seat X1. She told me her name, which was also the woman's name in X2. So, I asked to see their boarding passes and X2 handed me the one for her connecting flight from dfw to california. She said she didn't have the one for this flight. So I asked for her identify and I verified that she was who she claimed to be. I then asked the girl in X1 for her identify and she said she didn't have it. I told her she did or she wouldn't be on the plane. I called the captain and he said she had better show some identify now or we were going to return to the gate. She got out of her seat and stood directly in front of me and said quietly, 'oh, I'll show you something.' she then very slowly lifted the flap of her purse and pulled out her identify. She was not who she claimed to be. I asked her if she had been drinking and she said 'well yeah.' so, I had her situation back down because she was swaying and moving/talking very slowly. I called the captain again to inform him of her being drunk and lying about who she was. He said the agents were meeting the plane back at the gate. After opening the aircraft door the agents told me to have them both gather their belongings and exit the airplane. As they were getting up the real passenger in X2 bent down and picked up a boarding pass for the inebriated passenger and said, 'oh here's your boarding pass.' I said it didn't matter now because she had lied to me about her name, her boarding pass, and her identify and they were drunk. As the inebriated passenger exited the airplane she turned to me and said, 'oh, what a safe airline.' and I said, 'we try to keep it as safe as possible, goodbye.'

Title: AN MD80 FLT ATTENDANT IN CHARGE DISCOVERED THAT 2 PAX CONCOCTED A STORY SO THEY COULD SIT TOGETHER IN FIRST CLASS. THE CAPT RETURNED TO THE GATE AT ATL.
Narrative: FLT ATTENDANT #4 INFORMED ME, FLT ATTENDANT #1, THAT THERE WERE 11 FIRST CLASS PAX INSTEAD OF THE 10 LISTED ON MY FINAL PAPERWORK. SO I CALLED OUT NAMES ON MY LIST AND MATCHED THEM WITH ALL PAX EXCEPT FOR ONE IN SEAT X1. SHE TOLD ME HER NAME, WHICH WAS ALSO THE WOMAN'S NAME IN X2. SO, I ASKED TO SEE THEIR BOARDING PASSES AND X2 HANDED ME THE ONE FOR HER CONNECTING FLT FROM DFW TO CALIFORNIA. SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T HAVE THE ONE FOR THIS FLT. SO I ASKED FOR HER IDENT AND I VERIFIED THAT SHE WAS WHO SHE CLAIMED TO BE. I THEN ASKED THE GIRL IN X1 FOR HER IDENT AND SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T HAVE IT. I TOLD HER SHE DID OR SHE WOULDN'T BE ON THE PLANE. I CALLED THE CAPT AND HE SAID SHE HAD BETTER SHOW SOME IDENT NOW OR WE WERE GOING TO RETURN TO THE GATE. SHE GOT OUT OF HER SEAT AND STOOD DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME AND SAID QUIETLY, 'OH, I'LL SHOW YOU SOMETHING.' SHE THEN VERY SLOWLY LIFTED THE FLAP OF HER PURSE AND PULLED OUT HER IDENT. SHE WAS NOT WHO SHE CLAIMED TO BE. I ASKED HER IF SHE HAD BEEN DRINKING AND SHE SAID 'WELL YEAH.' SO, I HAD HER SIT BACK DOWN BECAUSE SHE WAS SWAYING AND MOVING/TALKING VERY SLOWLY. I CALLED THE CAPT AGAIN TO INFORM HIM OF HER BEING DRUNK AND LYING ABOUT WHO SHE WAS. HE SAID THE AGENTS WERE MEETING THE PLANE BACK AT THE GATE. AFTER OPENING THE ACFT DOOR THE AGENTS TOLD ME TO HAVE THEM BOTH GATHER THEIR BELONGINGS AND EXIT THE AIRPLANE. AS THEY WERE GETTING UP THE REAL PAX IN X2 BENT DOWN AND PICKED UP A BOARDING PASS FOR THE INEBRIATED PAX AND SAID, 'OH HERE'S YOUR BOARDING PASS.' I SAID IT DIDN'T MATTER NOW BECAUSE SHE HAD LIED TO ME ABOUT HER NAME, HER BOARDING PASS, AND HER IDENT AND THEY WERE DRUNK. AS THE INEBRIATED PAX EXITED THE AIRPLANE SHE TURNED TO ME AND SAID, 'OH, WHAT A SAFE AIRLINE.' AND I SAID, 'WE TRY TO KEEP IT AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE, GOODBYE.'
