As a lead technician, I assigned one of my technicians to deliver an aircraft logbook. He delivered it to the wrong aircraft. I was unaware of the logbook placement on the wrong aircraft until later in the day.

Narrative: AS A LEAD TECHNICIAN, I ASSIGNED ONE OF MY TECHNICIANS TO DELIVER AN ACFT LOGBOOK. HE DELIVERED IT TO THE WRONG ACFT. I WAS UNAWARE OF THE LOGBOOK PLACEMENT ON THE WRONG ACFT UNTIL LATER IN THE DAY.
