Narrative:
E120 slc to ida pointed out to me at 14000 ft. E120 arrival on bmc arrival to slc descending rapidly from 19000 ft to 12000 ft to clear released military airspace at hif. At the last min visual separation was used to separate the 2 aircraft, thus separation was not lost.

Narrative: E120 SLC TO IDA POINTED OUT TO ME AT 14000 FT. E120 ARR ON BMC ARR TO SLC DSNDING RAPIDLY FROM 19000 FT TO 12000 FT TO CLR RELEASED MIL AIRSPACE AT HIF. AT THE LAST MIN VISUAL SEPARATION WAS USED TO SEPARATE THE 2 ACFT, THUS SEPARATION WAS NOT LOST.
