Narrative:
Operating at FL350, at leveloff, oil pressure on #2 engine was below limits. Airline maintenance and dispatcher were contacted and aircraft was diverted to cvg. Emergency was declared and engine was shut down per operating procedures. We were cleared direct to cvg and an uneventful landing was made. After having fire crews look over the aircraft, we taxied to the gate. I believe the problem was a malfunctioning #2 oil pressure gauge. We had no other indications, however, #2 oil quantity was a deferred item, so as the operating manual directed, the engine was shut down.

Title: A B737-200 FLT CREW HAVE A LOW OIL QUANTITY INDICATION RESULTING IN THE INFLT SHUTDOWN OF THE R ENG, FOLLOWED BY AN EMER LNDG.
Narrative: OPERATING AT FL350, AT LEVELOFF, OIL PRESSURE ON #2 ENG WAS BELOW LIMITS. AIRLINE MAINT AND DISPATCHER WERE CONTACTED AND ACFT WAS DIVERTED TO CVG.
