Narrative:

Dispatch filed us on the tralr 2 RNAV SID. According to NOTAM, this SID requires a runway position update be accomplished within 1000 ft of a charter waypoint and not on the runway. Also, the first 1400 ft of runway 25R is notamed closed, so departures are from intersection A2. Since the B757 IRS system cannot adjust the runway end, RNAV departures should not be accepted from A2 intersection. We realized this after we had departed. No incident happened as a result. Factors that led us to accept the tralr 2 included being planned by dispatch for it, being cleared by ATC, not having the intersection departure published on ATIS, and the information needed to realize that an RNAV departure should not be done is buried in the flight manual and the NOTAMS.

Title: A B757 CREW ACCEPTS THE TRALR RNAV DEP FROM LAS VEGAS IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH A PUBLISHED NOTAM. THEY WERE UNABLE TO COMPLY WITH THE NOTAM BECAUSE OF THE CAPABILITY OF THEIR ACFT'S IRS SYS TO UPDATE, AS REQUIRED, DUE TO ARPT CONSTRUCTION AND AN INTXN DEP.

ALSO, THE FIRST 1400 FT OF RWY 25R IS NOTAMED CLOSED, SO DEPS ARE FROM INTXN A2. SINCE THE B757 IRS SYS CANNOT ADJUST THE RWY END, RNAV DEPS SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM A2 INTXN. WE REALIZED THIS AFTER WE HAD DEPARTED. NO INCIDENT HAPPENED AS A RESULT. FACTORS THAT LED US TO ACCEPT THE TRALR 2 INCLUDED BEING PLANNED BY DISPATCH FOR IT, BEING CLRED BY ATC, NOT HAVING THE INTXN DEP PUBLISHED ON ATIS, AND THE INFO NEEDED TO REALIZE THAT AN RNAV DEP SHOULD NOT BE DONE IS BURIED IN THE FLT MANUAL AND THE NOTAMS.
