Narrative:
Repaired or replaced an elevator position transmitter on aircraft. After operations checking system, everything was found good per maintenance manual. Another mechanic said he would close up the panel. I told him to look at the part and make sure everything was secure. After I did the paperwork, he said everything was good. I didn't remember tightening down the micro-adjust torque rod screw and nut that attaches to the transmitter. I should have checked everything over myself before finishing paperwork.
