Narrative:
Flight to dfw, a possible runway incursion occurred. We landed on runway 31R in dfw and were told to monitor tower on 126.55 and hold short of runway 35C, which we did. There was another aircraft in front of us which was told to cross runways 35C and 35L and in the same transmission, we were told to cross runways 35C and 35L -- so we think. As we started across the hold short line, the captain looked out his left window and saw an aircraft on short final for runway 35C. We then stopped just across the hold short line and ATC initiated a go around for the aircraft on final. He then told us we were told to hold short, but go ahead and cross runways 35C and 35L and contact ground. We contacted ground and taxied to the gate without further incident.
