Narrative:
Crr assigned us a climb speed of 300 KTS. We encountered light to moderate turbulence. The aircraft lost approximately 20 KTS of airspeed. The center frequency was fairly busy and we had not been able to report the loss of speed. We additionally had a right main gear unsafe light that was intermittently flashing. Center called and asked what speed we were at and I reported 290 KTS. He cleared us to maintain FL270. Due to how busy the center was, we were unable to explain our loss of speed. Additionally, the aircraft climbs poorly at high speed and high altitude combined. This is the reason we lost airspeed while in turbulence.

Title: H25B REDUCED BELOW ATC ASSIGNED SPD DURING CLB WITH ZAB.
Narrative: CRR ASSIGNED US A CLB SPD OF 300 KTS. WE ENCOUNTERED LIGHT TO MODERATE TURB. THE ACFT LOST APPROX 20 KTS OF AIRSPD. THE CTR FREQ WAS FAIRLY BUSY AND WE HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO RPT THE LOSS OF SPD. WE ADDITIONALLY HAD A R MAIN GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT THAT WAS INTERMITTENTLY FLASHING. CTR CALLED AND ASKED WHAT SPD WE WERE AT AND I RPTED 290 KTS. HE CLRED US TO MAINTAIN FL270. DUE TO HOW BUSY THE CTR WAS, WE WERE UNABLE TO EXPLAIN OUR LOSS OF SPD. ADDITIONALLY, THE ACFT CLBS POORLY AT HIGH SPD AND HIGH ALT COMBINED. THIS IS THE REASON WE LOST AIRSPD WHILE IN TURB.
