Narrative:
On jan/tue/04, my supervisor assigned me to accomplish a 'predep reliability check' and to record the accomplishment of this check on company form X. Form X is used for aircraft that are undergoing maintenance that are in a scheduled check or OTS due to maintenance. I documented this 'predep reliability check' in the aircraft logbook, page X. The violation as I see it is that either way I document this check, I am violating far 121.369 by providing a reference that has not been accepted by the administrator. The 'predep reliability check' is a check that has been designed and implemented by local management personnel. The check has not been placed in any of the company manuals (general procedures manual, maintenance manuals, maintenance check manuals, etc).
