Narrative:
While flying in the traffic pattern at cmi, loss of radio communication occurred. One touch-and-go landing was made with communication radios working. The second touch-and-go landing was made without clearance to land. On the downwind for the third landing, I rocked my wings until I saw a green light from the tower clearing me for the landing. Once on the runway (runway 22R), I was given a flashing green light on the runway clearing me to taxi. The cause of the problem was a faulty altimeter and loss of battery power.
