Narrative:
Advised to taxi runway 31 at kmdt (harrisburg international). Hold short line was not visible. Upon being cleared for takeoff, controller (tower) said, 'for future reference, the hold short line is...even the big guys have a hard time seeing it.' I held short at what I thought would be safe location and immediately contacted tower frequency.

Narrative: ADVISED TO TAXI RWY 31 AT KMDT (HARRISBURG INTL). HOLD SHORT LINE WAS NOT VISIBLE. UPON BEING CLRED FOR TKOF, CTLR (TWR) SAID, 'FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, THE HOLD SHORT LINE IS...EVEN THE BIG GUYS HAVE A HARD TIME SEEING IT.' I HELD SHORT AT WHAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE SAFE LOCATION AND IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED TWR FREQ.
