Narrative:
Flight to sfo. First officer flying. Normal visual approach runway 28L. After 2-3 second rollout on runway 28L, we felt a noticeable grab (pull) on the left of the airplane. I xferred control from co-pilot shortly thereafter. Initially, I felt the tires thumping, as rolling over the center runway lights. As the act slowed down, the rollout became smoother. Cleared the runway and stopped the airplane between taxiway K and taxiway U. Tower had advised that we had a left side outboard main tire failure on landing and caused the following airplane to go around due to debris on the runway. We requested confirmation from the tower, who spoke to the emergency vehicles of no fire or smoke visible. I spoke to the flight attendants with the information to remain on board and to be vigilant to any changes. First officer was instructed to call operations to discuss tow in or tire change as appropriate. Maintenance elected to tow in the airplane to gate. Passenger were deplaned. No further concerns and the tire was eventually changed.

Title: A320 CREW HAD A BLOWN MAIN GEAR TIRE ON LNDG AT SFO.
Narrative: FLT TO SFO. FO FLYING. NORMAL VISUAL APCH RWY 28L. AFTER 2-3 SECOND ROLLOUT ON RWY 28L, WE FELT A NOTICEABLE GRAB (PULL) ON THE L OF THE AIRPLANE. I XFERRED CTL FROM CO-PLT SHORTLY THEREAFTER. INITIALLY, I FELT THE TIRES THUMPING, AS ROLLING OVER THE CTR RWY LIGHTS. AS THE ACT SLOWED DOWN, THE ROLLOUT BECAME SMOOTHER. CLRED THE RWY AND STOPPED THE AIRPLANE BTWN TXWY K AND TXWY U. TWR HAD ADVISED THAT WE HAD A L SIDE OUTBOARD MAIN TIRE FAILURE ON LNDG AND CAUSED THE FOLLOWING AIRPLANE TO GO AROUND DUE TO DEBRIS ON THE RWY. WE REQUESTED CONFIRMATION FROM THE TWR, WHO SPOKE TO THE EMER VEHICLES OF NO FIRE OR SMOKE VISIBLE. I SPOKE TO THE FLT ATTENDANTS WITH THE INFO TO REMAIN ON BOARD AND TO BE VIGILANT TO ANY CHANGES. FO WAS INSTRUCTED TO CALL OPS TO DISCUSS TOW IN OR TIRE CHANGE AS APPROPRIATE. MAINT ELECTED TO TOW IN THE AIRPLANE TO GATE. PAX WERE DEPLANED. NO FURTHER CONCERNS AND THE TIRE WAS EVENTUALLY CHANGED.
