Narrative:

After takeoff the gear handle was stuck in the down position. A few seconds later we received a single chime and a 'wow' input caution message. I requested radar vectors or holding instructions in order to comply with the checklist. I elected to return to sna. An emergency was declared. When the airplane was around 90 KTS and decelerating, a severe shaking and vibration occurred. Tower advised us that they saw smoke. I elected to evacuate/evacuation the airplane through the main entrance door. No passenger or crew members were hurt.
